Definition:
MATRIX is a fast-acting non-systemic pyrethroid insecticide in the form of an emulsifiable concentrate that works by contact and has a stomach action.
Mode of action:
- Deltamethrin affects the nervous system of the insect through its effect on the protein receptor in fibrous nerve membrane and also on sodium channels thus non-transmission of nerve pulses which leads to insect death.
- MATRIX works by contact, where it penetrates into insects and larvae when exposed to direct spraying with MATRIX or when contacted with treated plant parts with MATRIX also it kills insects and larvae that feed on treated plant parts.
Specifications:
- MATRIX contains deltamethrin, which is considered one of the strongest active ingredients in the pyrethroid group, as its effectiveness appears even in low dosages.
- It is a prolonged insecticide with long-lasting effectiveness, which ensures long-term protection for crops.
- It is effective against a large number of insects such as leaf and fruit worms, fruit fly and also against sucking insects which infects fruit and vegetable crops.
Mixability:
It can be mixed with most different pesticides and fertilizers, and it is preferable to make a mixing experiment before use.
