• Definition:

ATOS EXTRA is an effective plant growth regulator used on grapes (Thompson seedless) in the stages of elongation and sizing in order to obtain excellent elongation and size from just one treatment, which reduces time, effort and costs, and there are other uses for it in order to increase flowering and fruit set in strawberries, increase fruit set and improve the quality of citrus fruits.

• Important notes:
• It is not mixed with ATOS EXTRA any concentrations of gibberellic acid due to the fact that it contains a sufficient percentage of gibberellic, auxins and other additives specialized in increasing the size of cells.
• Calcium boron spray is recommended 3-4 days before the ATOS EXTRA sizing treatment.
• Clusters should be sprayed only if possible, on all sides, using a small sprayer.
• ATOS EXTRA is used only in the elongation and sizing stages and is not used at all in the thinning stage.

Advantages of using Atos Extra in Grapes (Thompson & Flame seedless):

1- At elongation stage:

• The elongation resulting from the treatment by ATOS EXTRA gives a strong and thick cluster compared to the elongation resulting from the other gibberelic treatment (the elongation resulting from ATOS EXTRA may reach 35 cm or more).
• Increasing the thickness of the central axis of the cluster, which prevents the formation of small berries at the end of the cluster, and also reduces the phenomenon of shattering the cluster berries.
• It works to raise thick and long branches for the clusters, which increases the weight of the clusters and thus increases the yield.

Application rate at Elongation stage:

Notes when using at elongation stage:

• The application rate depends on the number of clusters, the required elongation and the spraying machine used.
• Don’t mix any concentrations of gibberellic acid with ATOS EXTRA, also the period between spraying gibberellic acid and ATOS EXTRA should not be less than 7-10 days
• Do not spray ATOS EXTRA at least 10 days before the flowering stage

2- At sizing stage (Thompson seedless):

• An increase in the diameter and height of the berries, as the berries diameter reached 21 mm at harvest, as well as an increase in the weight of the clusters, which leads to an increase in the weight of the yield.
• Elongation of the berries, an appearance that does not result from other growth regulators.
• Increase the thickness of the grape berries pedicle, which reduces the phenomena of shatter grape
• The regularity of placing the berries on the clusters and the consistency of their size in one cluster, which increases their marketing value
• The hardness of the berries, which increases the life of the berries and thus increases the length of their stay fresh through various marketing channels.

Application rate at sizing stage:

• Notes when using at sizing stage:
• Application rate depends on number of clusters, needed size and spraying machine used.
• It is taken into account that the sizing stage should be carried out only after reaching a suitable thinning stage to avoid the accumulation of clusters.
• No need to spray the crop with cytokinins after treated with ATOS EXTRA.

Other uses:

1- Citrus:

To increase fruit set, used at rate 50-100 cm/ 100 litter of water (at 80-100% flowering stage) and repeat another time after 25-30 days from the first treatment with the previous rate.

2- Strawberry:

Used to increase the number of species, increase flowering, fruit set and sizing at a rate of 50 cm / 100 L water

3-Artichook:

• To increase the vegetative growth, side branches, early harvest, and increase yield, used at rate 50-100 cm / 100 L water. (In case of knapsack sprayer: It used at rate 250 cm /acre).
• To increase the number and size of inflorescences: It used at rate 150-200 cm /100 L water.

4-Peach:

To increase the size and speed of vegetative growth, at the exit of vegetative growths with a length of 5 cm, at the rate of 100 cm – 150 cm / 100 liters of water .

Very Important note:

ATOS EXTRA should not be used on guava trees because it contains cytokinins.
